Our Story

From Corporate Insider to Strategic Advisor

Cor Collective was born from over 25 years of in-house corporate communications experience in the energy industry. Our founder, Jill McMillan-Melott, spent her career inside the companies she now advises—from ExxonMobil and Devon Energy to EnLink Midstream and Tailwater Capital.

She's navigated stock price collapses and corporate rebuilds, led branding through multi-billion-dollar mergers, and managed communications for 15+ portfolio companies across the private equity landscape.

Along the way, she kept running into the same problem: the agencies her companies hired were tactical, not strategic. They waited to be told what to do. They didn't think two steps ahead.
